Spleen Meridian

Function

  • In Traditional Chinese Medicine the spleen is known to be the Transportation & Distribution Manager. Everything that moves in the body is attributed to spleen work.
  • It keeps the blood properly circulating in the vessels, it transports blood and energy to the flesh and limbs.  Spleen acts as a  filter; old blood cells are recycled by the spleen.  It also is the largest  lymphatic organ in the body. Healthy spleen prevents mucus accumulation thus preventing inflammation, swelling, tumors and general heaviness.
