The Concept
Where East meets West
The Concept is the Practice of Meditation through Yin Yoga.
This practice helps to uncover layers of tension that manifest as pain, fatigue, depression, and lack of focus.
Latest research in science has found mind-body connections — ideas that Eastern philosophies have been promoting as Wholeness for centuries.
Buddhist tradition would say: “Everything we think we become”.
Science would say: “Habitual patterns of thought lead to chemical reactions in the brain that flush the system with all kinds of hormonal substances”.
These ideas establish habits of hurtful and displeasing thoughts that subject our system to cortisol and adrenaline through stress. They override our sense of balance, causing inflammation and other negative health conditions .
By accepting that our body and mind are not separate and embracing that the brain plays a vital role in our organs’ health, we learn to have a clear positive image of ourselves thus the world around us.
Training the brain with Yin Yoga teaches the Mind to replace:
- Hostility with acceptance
- Alienation with bonding
- Stress hormones with feel-good hormones
- Victimization with contentment
Practice is healing. Experience is unique.
