Dragons

This is a lunging pose that opens the hip, groin and ankles.  It affects Stomach meridian thus helping with digestion.

Dragons clear congestion and improve sense of balance.

HOW TO

Start from the kneeling position and take a big step forward with one foot. Ideally the front leg forming the right angle 90*.

Release hands either on the front knee, blocks on each side of the body or floor.

Readjust if needed and while exhaling, start draping the upper body down in forward fold.

Keep the spine straight if there’s lower back discomfort.

Breathe here for 3-5 min and switch sides

Targets: hamstrings, quadriceps glutes, calves, groin
